PEATC Transition University

PEATC’s Transition University is now open

This is a free parent-friendly five-week, self-paced online transition course which has a wealth of information and resources.

The goal is to share factual information on transition-related issues and services to help make the transition from school services to the adult services world less confusing. It is never too early to start learning about students with disabilities transitioning to adulthood and it is never too early to begin taking steps to prepare for the future. As a staff member involved in transition planning and services for your school division, we would greatly appreciate it if you could disseminate this information to families and professionals who may be interested in attending.

Individuals can register at https://tufall2021.eventbrite.com  I have also attached the flyer for Transition University that can be printed off and distributed to others.

Individuals who participated previously but could not complete the course or did not have time to take the course can sign up for the fall course!  Every time we host the course it is updated and improved. Professionals are also welcome to take the course.   Participants who complete the full course will receive a certificate showing 6.5 hours.  As always, we thank you for your assistance in reaching families.
