Virginia Kindness Week; February 14 - February 20
We invite you to join us in recognizing and celebrating Virginia Kindness Week.
Schools can promote and foster kindness all school year. However, Virginia has recognized Virginia Kindness Week as February 14 - 20, 2021 (Virginia Kindness Week Proclamation). The purpose of Kindness Week is to recognize that simple day-to-day acts of kindness enable our schools, communities, and state to be a kinder, safer, healthier, and more inclusive place to live, work, learn, and play. We hope you will join us in celebrating and promoting kindness!
While Kindness Week can’t solve all the problems we are facing, it can assist us as we rebuild relationships, foster connections in our communities, promote optimism, and restore hope. If we look beyond its simplistic appearance, Kindness Week truly has the potential to do so much for so many.

Do you know someone who deserves to be recognized for their kindness? Take the time to recognize them publicly as a Virginia Ambassador of Kindness. Print this poster, present it to the student, educator, or community member you wish to recognize. |  |

Full Circle Ahead; Virtual Transition Workshop
The disAbility Resource Center and the Fredericksburg Area Council on Transition are hosting a virtual workshop on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at multiple times.
